In my line of work, anyone that files for either type of bankruptcy will lose their job. Financial responsibility is one of the conditions of employment and holding a security clearance.
As for the whole bankruptcy and baseball debate, who really cares other than TMP and its employees? How does any of this affect any of us personally? Give it a rest and talk about toys or something.

How does any of this have an adverse effect on any of our lives? Higher prices are inevitable due to inflation. Less licenses = less you spend. No figures = another company will make them. Still not seeing any of these affecting my life personally.

Well if you consider inflation then they would be even higher if they're also raised due to financial problems, and that definitely affects me personally.... $$$$
